Privacy Policy

Specifically for BeatAlarm. This Privacy Policy applies to BeatAlarm: Wake-up Games for Android (package com.fancyar.beatalarm) and its official website. The app is published by FancyAR Tech (“we”, “us”). Privacy questions and requests: fancyarplay@gmail.com.

BeatAlarm provides alarms and wake-up games. You do not need a BeatAlarm account. Alarm settings, game results and raw microphone or sensor input are not uploaded to a FancyAR Tech server. Google services used for optional advertising and purchases do process information separately, as explained below.

1. Information handled by the app

Alarms, settings and game records

Alarm times, repeat days, labels, selected games, sound and volume preferences, reminder settings, language, achievements and wake-up records are stored on your device. The app also keeps limited local diagnostic events for alarm operation. These records are used to operate alarms, display your history and, where available, show a seven-day report and adjust game difficulty. We do not operate a cloud account system or upload these records to our servers. Android app-data backup is disabled for the current release.

Microphone and audio

The balloon-blowing game requests microphone permission when needed to measure blowing intensity while the game is active. Audio samples are processed temporarily on your device. BeatAlarm does not create or retain recordings, upload audio, or use it for advertising. You may deny or revoke microphone permission and choose another available game. Your own alarm audio is accessed through the Android file picker; the app retains permission to the file you select so that it can play at alarm time. We do not upload that file.

Motion sensors

Shaking and balance games use available device motion sensors during play. Raw sensor readings are processed locally for game control and are not uploaded to us or provided by us to advertisers. Game scores derived from play may be stored with your local records. If a required sensor is unavailable, choose another supported game.

Alarm and device permissions

Depending on your Android version, BeatAlarm uses notification, exact-alarm, full-screen alarm, foreground-service, vibration, wake-lock and boot-completion capabilities to schedule and present alarms, continue ringing and restore schedules after a restart. You control applicable permissions in Android settings. These capabilities do not give us access to your contacts, messages or precise GPS location.

Google Play purchases

Google Play handles payment, purchase history and transaction processing under its own terms and privacy policy. BeatAlarm receives purchase status and transaction information needed to verify, acknowledge and restore Pro, and caches verified purchase credentials on your device. We do not receive your full payment-card details or operate a payment database. Google may process financial and account information for the transaction. A purchase can be restored with the eligible Google Play account; an ad-based game unlock belongs to the current app installation.

Support communications

If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use these to respond, troubleshoot and handle privacy or purchase requests. Do not include payment-card details, passwords or unnecessary sensitive information. Our email provider processes messages to deliver and store them.

2. Advertising, Google AdMob and other Google services

BeatAlarm uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) for optional rewarded advertising and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage applicable privacy messages and choices. Watching a rewarded ad is voluntary. Completing an eligible ad can unlock a selected game for the current installation. Declining an ad does not remove your existing free features. Ads are not displayed during ringing or wake-up challenges.

Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect or receive the following through the advertising SDK, subject to your device settings, region, consent status and restrictions on ad requests:

These services use information for serving and measuring advertising, analytics associated with advertising, security, fraud prevention and compliance. Depending on applicable settings, permitted ad requests and your choices, Google may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies on devices or in ad content. Non-personalized or restricted advertising can still involve data processing, including frequency control, measurement and fraud prevention. Having no FancyAR Tech user database does not mean that third-party SDKs collect no data.

Current release: BeatAlarm applies age-restricted treatment to its ad requests and an under-age-of-consent flag in UMP. This restrictive configuration limits personalized advertising; UMP may not display a consent form for such requests. A missing form does not mean you have consented to personalized advertising. The app checks the SDK's eligibility before requesting ads. Where the SDK requires a privacy-options entry point, it is available in the app's Me → Ad privacy settings (the wording is localized). Availability of a form depends on your region and the SDK's current requirements.

Read Google's descriptions of its processing and controls:

3. Sharing, international processing and purposes

We do not sell your alarm records, raw microphone input or raw motion readings, and we do not share those local data with advertisers. Google receives SDK information directly to provide the advertising, consent and billing services described above. Our website hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives connection information to deliver and protect website requests. An email provider handles support messages. We may disclose information we actually hold if required by applicable law, to protect rights and safety, or as necessary for a lawful business transfer with appropriate protection and notice.

Google, Cloudflare and email-service providers may process data in countries other than yours, under their own privacy terms and applicable transfer safeguards. Where privacy law requires a legal basis, app functionality is provided to perform the service you request; support and proportionate security activities rely on legitimate interests or legal obligations where applicable. Advertising consent is used where required and available; consent is not inferred from acceptance of this policy. Providers may have their own independent legal bases and obligations.

4. Your controls and privacy rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, including the EEA, UK, Switzerland or applicable US states, you may have additional rights such as opting out of targeted advertising or legally defined “sale” or “sharing,” appealing a decision, or complaining to a privacy regulator. We do not sell personal information for money. Advertising-provider processing can be covered by broader legal definitions of sale or sharing; use the available advertising privacy controls and contact us if you need help. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. For information held independently by Google, use Google's privacy controls or contact Google.

5. Retention, deletion and security

Local app data remain on your device until you delete them, clear app storage or uninstall, subject to ordinary Android behavior. Raw microphone samples and sensor readings are used transiently during the game rather than retained as recordings or raw histories. Verified purchase credentials remain locally as needed to maintain or restore entitlements. We retain support communications only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, meet legal obligations and handle disputes, then delete or anonymize them. You may request deletion of support information by email, subject to lawful retention exceptions.

Google and other providers set their own retention periods for information they independently process. Uninstalling BeatAlarm does not delete Google Play transaction records or provider-held advertising data. We rely on Android's app storage protections and encrypted network connections for Google SDK communication and HTTPS for the website. No storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.

6. Children and age-related advertising

BeatAlarm is intended for users aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. The conservative advertising configuration described above does not change the app's intended audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through a BeatAlarm account, since no such account exists. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so that we can investigate and delete information we hold where required. Users below the applicable age of consent must involve a parent or guardian as required by local law.

7. This website

The BeatAlarm website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes information such as IP address, request URL, browser or device headers and technical or security events to deliver, secure and operate the site. This website does not add advertising SDKs, analytics scripts, tracking pixels or marketing cookies. It does not request microphone, camera or location access. Your selected language is represented by the URL; we do not save it to a cookie. Following a Google Play or external link takes you to a service with its own policy. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our app, providers or legal obligations change. Updates appear on this public page with a revised date. If a change requires notice or renewed consent under applicable law, we will provide it through an appropriate channel. This English version is the published policy for BeatAlarm.
