Terms of Service

1. Using BeatAlarm

By downloading or using BeatAlarm, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, discontinue use and uninstall the app. BeatAlarm is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are a minor under the laws where you live, use the app with the permission and supervision required from a parent or legal guardian. No BeatAlarm user account is required.

2. What the app provides

BeatAlarm schedules alarms and offers wake-up games, per-alarm sound settings, optional reminders, local wake-up records and related features. The free version includes three games and up to two alarms. Additional games may be available through optional rewarded ads or a Pro purchase. Exact availability and offers are shown in the installed app and on Google Play and may change with app updates. We do not promise any particular health, sleep, productivity or wake-up outcome.

3. Alarm reliability and safe use

Alarm delivery depends on your device, power, operating-system behavior, permissions, sound settings and background battery restrictions. Turning off or force-stopping the app or device, revoking permissions, or manufacturer restrictions can prevent or delay an alarm. Check Me → Ringing reliability, allow the applicable notifications and exact-alarm settings, check lock-screen and background battery settings, and test an alarm on your device.

Use a separate backup alarm when missing an alarm would have serious consequences. BeatAlarm is not an emergency, medical or safety-critical alert service. Hold the device securely in motion games, use comfortable audio levels, and do not play while driving, operating machinery or in another situation requiring your full attention. You can use the emergency-stop control on the ringing screen. Optional automatic stop and Ring later reminders are off by default; enable them only if they suit your needs.

4. License and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for lawful personal purposes, subject to these terms and the applicable Google Play terms. We and our licensors retain rights in the app, branding, artwork and software. Open-source components remain governed by their own licenses and notices.

Do not redistribute or sell the app without permission, bypass purchase or reward verification, misuse advertising systems, interfere with the service, or use it unlawfully. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not limit rights that mandatory law grants you.

5. Pro purchases, prices and restoration

BeatAlarm Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase through Google Play, with no subscription or automatic renewal. Pro includes all games, more alarms and the seven-day report, as described at purchase. The localized price, taxes where applicable and purchase confirmation are shown by Google Play before payment. Prices are not fixed by this website.

Google processes your payment. Purchases and refunds are subject to the applicable Google Play terms and your mandatory consumer rights. Use the app's restore-purchases function with the same eligible Google Play account to restore Pro. Restoration may require a working Google Play connection. A refund, cancellation or other loss of entitlement may remove purchased access when the app receives the updated purchase status. A one-time purchase does not guarantee perpetual availability on every future device or operating-system version, without limiting rights you have by law.

6. Optional rewarded ads

You may choose to complete a rewarded advertisement to unlock a selected eligible game for the current installation. The app explains the reward before you opt in. A reward is granted when the advertising SDK reports eligible completion; merely opening or closing an ad does not qualify. You do not need to click an ad, buy an advertised product or subscribe to anything to earn the stated completion reward. Ad availability is not guaranteed.

You may decline optional ads and continue using existing free or purchased features. Reward-based unlocks are stored locally and may be lost if you uninstall, clear app storage or move to another device; they are not a transferable Google Play purchase. Ads are not displayed during ringing or wake-up challenges.

7. Local data, permissions and privacy

Alarm settings, local records and preferences are stored on your device, without a BeatAlarm cloud account. Clearing app storage or uninstalling can erase these data. You control device permissions and are responsible for checking the settings needed by the features you choose. Microphone and motion input for games are processed locally as described in the BeatAlarm Privacy Policy. Google advertising, consent and payment services process certain information independently. The Privacy Policy explains those practices and your choices; accepting these terms is not a substitute for advertising consent.

8. Third-party services and content

Google Play, Google AdMob, Google UMP, Android and external websites are provided by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control third-party advertisements, products, payment processing or external content. An advertisement is not an endorsement. If you select a local audio file, you must have the rights needed to use it.

9. Updates and ending use

We may provide updates, correct errors or change features to maintain the app, address security issues or comply with law. Device and operating-system support may change. We may restrict misuse or discontinue the app where lawful, providing notice and remedies when required. You may stop using and uninstall BeatAlarm at any time. Sections intended to survive termination, including intellectual-property provisions and lawful limitations, continue to apply.

10. Warranties, responsibility and consumer rights

We aim to provide a useful and reliable app. To the extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, error-free performance or successful waking. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use, including losses caused by missed alarms or device restrictions.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, or death or personal injury where protected by law. Your mandatory consumer rights, statutory guarantees, refund rights and other protections remain unaffected. If an exclusion is not permitted in your jurisdiction, it does not apply to you to that extent.

11. Changes, applicable law and disputes

We may revise these terms and publish the updated version here with a new date. Material changes will be notified where required by applicable law. If a change requires your agreement, we will obtain it where required; otherwise, continued use after the lawful effective date is subject to the updated terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the app, without losing remedies that mandatory law provides.

Applicable law and mandatory consumer protections determine your rights. These terms do not require you to waive protections or access to courts available under the law where you live, and do not impose mandatory arbitration. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply to the extent lawful. This English version is the published set of BeatAlarm terms.
